BAHH~ limin's back. busy for the past three days. christmas. the season of giving. yay! received presents. i got a coin purse and water bottle on saturday. i received a pencil holder and a make-up kit on sunday. although the make-up kit was redundant. but thanks people, anyway. and the best thing is, i got to eat chocolate fondue on both days. marshmallows, strawberries and bananas. it was fucking chocolatey. and ive watched charlotte's web. nice movie on friendship. ohhhhh. i hope im back in phuket now. tanning. parasailing. wakeboarding. snorkelling. banana boating. things tht ive not done and things tht im dying to do again. if only my life is like the ang mohs. never mind. i may have a chance to spend my lunar new year in belgium. MAY. then, i'll bring back loads of chocolates for geokho.

my brother got in to st. joseph institution. tht school is freaky. it planned everything out before the school term even starts. selection for the talent programme has already taken place today and it is continuing tml. damn. i wonder how my brother survives.

oh well, im BACK. clean and fresh. after a good night sleep. i missed my dog. but ive never regretted goin to phuket and bangkok. we went tanning and playin at the beach on the second day. my brother went for parasailing. i could have gone. if only i didnt leave for shopping. damn. oh well. went to shop at the night market. i got my sarong at 100bahts. my cousin wanted to buy hers from another stall. so when her starting price of the bargain is 100bahts, the seller chased her away. haha. went snorkelling on the third day. took many many pictures. my bikini tan is very vague. haha. day four, went to phuket town. not a very memorable place. shall not mention. left at one in the afternoon for the south of phuket. we settled down at a shop for dinner and toilet break at a shop. the toilet was f****** terrible. the food was blah~ as well. then we head to the 'bus terminal' and took a VIP bus to bangkok. an overnight ride. practically the rest of the passengers on the bus were ang mohs. in fact, all of them are. then in the middle of the night, some ang moh guy slept on the passage way of the bus, right beside my mom. my aunt stepped on him while going to the toilet. reached bangkok on day five. it was freezing cold in the morning. we ate breakfast at this roadside stall tht my uncle recommended. there were many stray dogs loitering around. since it was like six in the morning, and there were no other breakfast source available, we had no choice. after freshening up for awhile, we went SHOPPING! we ate a&w for dinner. its a fast food restaurant tht is already extinct in singapore. everybody was tired. we were walking for 30minutes? to and fro. it was dreamland on day six. everything there was so, dreamy~ it's all about fairytales and rides. although the rides werent at all thrilling and exciting, everybody had fun screaming together. and everyone was like forking out money to win tht jumbo dog for yizhen. we went to the haunted house next. not at all freaky. jia yan jie jie was like grabbing on to erguma and my mom. everyone was screaming and shouting. the rest were laughing. fungi was screaming and jumping up and down while holding me. well, just fun loh. day seven. chinatown. im telling you, the crowds there is far worst than the ones in singapore. its scary. roadside peddlers and motorcylers are allowed to enter and squeeze with the crowd with there machines. people pushing here and there. frightening. took a boat to this stop where we can feed fishes. ate at this shop nearby. nice tom yam goong. nice rice shape. haha. went back to bangkok for more SHOPPING! by the time we reached the hotel, we were all beat. imagine walking for miles and miles of road per day.

blogging! about the trip to zoo today. my legs are aching. my butt as well. thanks to the rowdy people in my 'FAMILY'. well, we're suppose to meet at 9 at amk interchange station. some PEOPLE were late. as usual. we ran for the bus and we didnt realise erika fell behind because she had to dispose her cup. well, she got up in the end. went to the toilet to change to our exotic costumes. erika didnt know anything about it. she thought we were changing our pads. as for wht we wore, refer to geokho's blog. we took many many pictures and visited many many animals. i'll post the pictures after yihui send me tml. went kfc to eat. then played the number game. whoever who gets it first had to jump into the 'ball-ball' thing which was only for KIDS under 120cm. well, i 'kena' first. in fact, i was the only one who 'kena'. we stopped playin the game soon after after limin and chang sheng came to join me. erika, yihui and geokho were next. the situation was chaotic. there was alot only pulling and tugging. geokho hit her waist, i hit my head and limin was constantly abused by erika. i hit my butt as well. the short moment in tht room was funny, messy and abusive. we went to the playground pool next. play open numbers and 'o-ya-peh-ya-sonm'. loser had to run a round under the sprinklers. after a while, we started playing with the pool water and getting ourselves all wet. not to mention, we took many pictures as well. many spastic pictures. continued visiting other animals before leaving. everyone was decently dressed again, except geokho. and so, we headed to town to take neoprints with dearest ERIKA. for the last time.

expectations.

ive come to realise tht this word is of many meanings and responsibility. expectations is the root of all evil. not money.

expectations of others can drive one crazy. like how a man may expects his other half to be faithful. and yet, tht other half have to disappoint him, dashin all his hopes and expectations for his vision of their future. with this, he cant control his emotions and resort to things he'll never do in a calm state of mind. in other words, he had gone crazy. many of the patients in mental hospital lose their mind because they cant take the fact tht the situation in which they expect to happen, did not.

many of us may expect things from our peers and people around us. but yet, it is the unexpected things tht changes everything. it'll change ur mood, ur thoughts and ur perspective towards everything. u may feel tht its all a big fib, its all a hypocrisy. but in actual fact, it is so because u did not expect it.

why must people have expectations?! it's because they trust, they believe and they feel. they trust the other party. they believe in themselves. they feel for everyone. why dont u count the times u feel sad because of disappointment from failed expectations? it's like how students would feel sad when they did not get the grade they expect themself to get. or when their parents feel unhappy because their expectations of their child did not come true. employees of narrow-minded bosses feel angry when their bosses turn unreasonable. tht is because they did not expect their bosses to treat em in tht way. i, for one, feel terrible when my mom did not bring me out like how she promised me to. i expected her to keep her promise, but she didnt. thus, resultin in negative emotions arousin in me.

if people can keep their expectations down, or if they can have no expectations at all, mayb they will not feel sad anymore. but one thing for sure, without expectations, u'll never feel gleeful either.
